Concealed installation of façade boards 100 – washers are used to permanently connect the façade board to the substrate (wall or ceiling) without visible screw marks. Due to their design, they are suitable for both wooden and composite boards, as well as those using tongue-and-groove technology. The washers can be attached directly to the wall, creating an optimal distance – a gap between the board and the wall. They can also be screwed to all types of wooden structures. The washers ensure adequate ventilation of the boards and walls, thus extending their life and preventing the appearance of mould. They protect the boards from cracking, as they are not drilled through.

1. Place the washer on the side with the protruding tab and move it to the edge of the board.
2. Once in place, screw it in using 4 mm diameter screws.
4. The washers must be attached to the board with an offset (as shown in the photo below). This means that one side is attached normally, while on the other side, the washer must be moved by its width.
5. Attach the previously prepared board to the previously fixed structure and push it in.
6. Properly fixed tongue-and-groove boards should fit together flush (without any gaps).
7. Screw the board in place to the joist or wall using 4 mm diameter screws.
8. The attached image shows how the boards are fastened with an overlap.
