1. Surface preparation: Clean, dust and prime the surface thoroughly to ensure maximum adhesion of the tape.
2. Positioning: Stick the reference markers to the substrate at roughly equal intervals, particularly at the highest and lowest points of the level.
3. Levelling: Using a laser level (cross-line laser), mark the target level of the screed and, if necessary, trim the reference markers to the correct height.
4. Pouring: Pour the self-levelling compound until its level is even with the height marked on the reference points.
5. Finishing: Once the screed has dried completely, simply cut off any parts of the reference points protruding above the surface with a utility knife.
