1. Start drilling at a 45° angle – Place the rotating drill bit against the material at an angle, and as it begins to cut a groove, slowly straighten it to a 90° angle.
2. Use circular movements – Whilst working, make gentle circular (orbiting) movements. This helps to remove cuttings and drastically reduces friction, which prevents the diamond from overheating.
3. Recommended speed – The maximum operating speed of the hole saw is 13,000 rpm. Using an angle grinder at this speed ensures optimum cutting performance.
4. Cleaning the side slots – After each hole is drilled, remove any remaining material from inside the drill bit using the side slots.

Remember! A higher grit count means real savings. Don’t overpay for cheap alternatives with painted, irregular grit that becomes blunt after just a few uses. Choose the SIMPLEFIX brand!
