The 25 mm plastic buckle is a very popular fastener used in many industries. The product consists of two elements: a male part (fork) and a female part (cap). They are used to fasten and unfasten connected straps. The cap has a hole through which the threaded tape should be sewn – with the end attached to the strap. The fork usually has an adjuster that allows you to set the appropriate length of the tape. The tape is threaded through individual rungs to the appropriate length and then the end is tightened by inserting it into the adjuster again.
The buckles
are made of high-quality POM (polyacetal) material, which is resistant to tearing and shearing. This is an important feature, especially when the product is exposed to heavy loads, such as dog leashes or baby carriers.
The buckle is fastened by folding the two elements together, i.e. inserting the prongs into the cap. To ensure that the buckle is correctly closed, you should hear a characteristic clicking sound. To unfasten the product, squeeze the two protruding prongs together simultaneously and slide them out.
