The 20mm R20 adjuster is a slider used in the health and safety, zoological, advertising and tailoring industries. The product has two holes for threading the tape through. These are used to adjust the length of the strap and clamp it in the correct position.
The adjusters
are made of high-quality POM (polyacetal) material that is resistant to tearing, shearing and breaking. This is an important feature, especially when the product is exposed to heavy loads, such as dog leashes, baby carriers or work trousers.
The adjuster has two holes for threading the strap through. First, insert the strap into one hole at the back of the adjuster, then pass it over the crossbar and thread it through the second hole. Once you have set the correct length of the strap, pass the end through hole number one again and tighten. There is also another method of using adjusters, namely: pass one end of the strap through the first crossbar and wrap it around to sew it, and pass the other end through hole number two and adjust the strap to the appropriate length. Tighten the end of the strap that has not been sewn in by passing it through hole number one.
